Joyce passed away peacefully on the 24th September 2019 aged 92.

She was dearly loved Mother, Granny; Great Granny and Great Great Granny.

She lived independently until the ripe age of 90 and then went to live with family.

She lost her husband (grandad) over 40 years ago; at the time they had a farm which she worked on as well as holding down two other jobs. She decided to sell the farm and move into town where she could use the buses to travel about (she couldn’t drive)

She loved travelling and has been all over the world, from Canada; China;Spain to Wales. She once told me her favourite place was Barcelona where she had travelled all around the city on the ‘red’ line.

She looked after her own mother for many years travelling each year to LLandudno, staying at the same place each year.

She (Granny) had a sweet tooth; she absolutely loved chocolate and cake!  She would always manage to finish up anything sweet that was left!!

She spent her last year surrounded by family and her great great grandchildren who she loved dearly although she often forgot their names!

She is now reunited with Grandad and taking a well earned rest!
